En bordure de Saône, à 20 km de Beaune, cœur de la Bourgogne historique, le Domaine de l’Oiseau est situé dans le calme d’un parc arboré de plus de 3 hectares. Orienté Sud, Sud-Est, il bénéficie d’un ensoleillement maximal, dont profite sa grande piscine dominant à perte de vue le Val de Saône.

L’on trouvera cependant refuge sous les ombrages d’arbres séculaires, au gré des salons de jardin répartis dans le parc.

Sa situation géographique, aux limites de la Côte vineuse et de la Bresse bourguignonne, lui confère un charme particulier, mariant les caractéristiques architecturales, gastronomiques et culturelles de l’activité vini-viticole et celle, plus campagnarde, de la plaine de Saône.

Ancien relais de chasse, puis de poste, il fit également office de gîte aux bâteliers de la Saône.

Constitué de différents corps de bâtiments érigés dès le XVIIIe siècle implantés autour d’une vaste cour intérieure, cette configuration le fit appeler jadis «Le Village».


Afin de préserver l’esprit du lieu, de même qu’une qualité d’accueil et de séjour optimale,le Domaine de l’Oiseau vous propose trois chambres et une suite, ainsi que sa table d’hôtes.
 

Bordering the Saône river and only 20km from Beaune in the heart of historic Burgundy the Domaine de l'Oiseau is situated in quiet wooded grounds of more than 3 hectares.

Facing south, south east, the Domaine enjoys maximum sunshine and from the swimming pool there are views of the Saône valley as far as the eye can see.

From here one can find a peaceful retreat in the shade of age-old trees, or escape to one of the many garden seats dotted around the grounds. The geographical location of the Domaine on the borders of the wine producing area and Bresse in Burgundy give it a special charm. Here architecture, gastronomy, wine production and cultural activities blend in with the more countryside pursuits of the Saône plain.

Formerly an old hunting lodge, then a post office the Domaine also functioned as a shelter for the boatmen of the Saône. Comprised of several buildings dating from the 18 th century built around a vast inner courtyard, the Domaine was known long ago as “The Village”.

In keeping with the spirit of the place and to ensure a comfortable stay, the Domaine de l'Oiseau offers you a choice of three separate rooms and one suite. A table d'hôte menu is available.
